I did this for a weekly photoshop competition. The theme or picture we were given was this bench with a wall behind it and two trees next to it.
I decided to just get rid of the wall. :o)

I made the trees look like they were a more aquatic plant, threw me on the bench and added some swimming friends. The picture I took of myself was a one picture try. That's gotta be a first for me! ;o)

This isn't part of my 365 group, but as I was trying to take this day's picture, Charlie kept trying to get into the picture. When I got up from this black drop, Charlie got up and sat down where I sat. And then he posed. I wanted to laugh at him...but instead I turned the camera on him...and then I laughed...haha...

Of course I would get the dog that likes to pose for pictures!

This picture is a happy little accident. That shadow is caused by my hand/arm being right in the light. Couldn't have planned ti better myself.

I can remember the first time I was told to hurry up to only be left waiting. I was a ballerina as a kid. I loved it. I was also a gymnast, but dance was were my heart was. Probably because it included more music. ;o)

I was rushed there, rushed back stage with the rest of the girls, rushed to make-up (which ended up being all kinds of '80s horrendous-ness), set up in formation for group picture off all the classes/acts and then....wait.

I was a baby then, so I didn't really understand it, but as the years progress and it kept happening, I had a feeling this would be my life's theme.

So far, I was right.

I wanted to be a doctor until the 11th grade. The defining moment came to me in Chemistry I Honors class. We were getting our first test handed back and I failed miserable. So I decided, maybe being a doctor wasn't for me. hahah...

I love music. Always have. Since the moment I could love something and know that I love it, I have loved music.

I've played music since I was in the 4th grade. I wanted to play the saxophone, like my Dad, but he told me it was too big for me. Looking back now, I don't think my Dad never wanted me to come home and try to teach him anything. So he got me a clarinet instead.

By the time I graduated high school I was playing the clarinet, the flute and the saxophone. ;o) I'm an overachiever.

Most of the music I listen to know has the harmonica in it. I don't know if it's because of old age or what not...but I'm diggin' it!

You should check out G. Love and the Special Sauce and Ryan Adams to get a taste of what I'm talking about.

I had to adopt the one dog that would be a camera whore. hahaha

And the pink theme just happened, so I went with it!

I can't remember why I decided to do this...but there it is.
My eyes and three of my fingers.

I had to write the words with my left hand, and I thought it was going to come out dreadful...but it worked...and I only put makeup on that one eye... hahaha...I have issues committing. ;o)

This is the second of 365 self portraits I will be doing. I'm not doing it because I love taking pictures of my face...although...I'm kidding. haha

I've changed my diet and my activities...I run now and I squeeze in a bike ride when I'm not such a baby. ;o) I even stopped eating fast food...except for Subway. Gotta keep the subway.

SO, I joined this group on Flickr so I would be forced to take pictures "everyday" and so I can see the changes I have/will go through.

Sometimes I get all in my head and don't think it's worth it...I'm hoping this will keep me on track!

365 of Me??? Oy!

I've started a trip. It's going to take me a year...and I'm ready.

I'm on Flickr, which is a social site for photography and photographers. There's a group that over 9,000 people are a part of. It's called 365. Basically, you take a self-portrait of yourself for 365 days. I'll be posting some of my favs and some of the stories behind them...unless it's just my face, then there probably isn't a story. hahah...

Got my bags packed! Let's go!
